McLeod Logue is a poet from Birmingham, Alabama. She received her MFA from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she taught creative writing and read for Ecotone. She is currently at work on a collection of poems set in Alabama which explores the power of place and the speaker’s gritty experience with girlhood, grief, and her body. Her work has appeared in print at The Southern Poetry Anthology, Volume X: Alabama. She can be found online in The Pinch Journal, The Nashville Review, Sonora Review, The Shore Poetry, and elsewhere.
